HARRISON FORD—$300 MILLION

An aviator and environmental activist, Harrison Ford, who rose to prominence for playing Hans Solo in George Lucas’ original Star Wars Trilogy, is reportedly worth $300 million. And if anything, we’re surprised it’s not much more than that, considering Ford has had a career that spans more than six decades, commanding close to $15 million per movie. He’s also starred in a slew of box office hits, from the Indiana Jones franchise to the Blade Runner movie series — the man has done them all.

But Ford doesn’t just luxuriate in his mansion, he also, to his credit, helps various organizations in their environmental conservation efforts in his spare time. Harrison is a notorious aviation enthusiast/pilot. We say “notorious” because he has had several accidents over the years, including crashing into a Los Angeles golf course, and the timing of his dangerous landing on the takeoff runway in Orange County. Harrison owns up to 10 planes and one helicopter. His most impressive aircraft is a 2009 Cessna 680, with a net cost of $18 million.
