ARLENE DAHL – $8.5 MILLION, UPSTATE NEW YORK

Although she’s retired from show business, there’s no mistaking Arlene Dahl’s impact in the industry. She gained recognition throughout the 50s and the Golden Age of Hollywood. Her films include A Southern Yankee, The Bride Goes Wild, and Reign of Terror. She’s currently one of the last surviving stars of the Classical Hollywood Cinema. Her last role was in the film Set the Record Straight back in 2009.

She listed her Upstate New York house in 2008 for $8.5 million. The Victoria-style house was built in 1859 and has seen Hollywood’s history. This 3800-square-foot mansion has great glamour, with fourteen rooms, nine fireplaces, oak floors, and wide verandas. Inside the mansion, the original footprint and many antique details remain intact, what’s more, the dining room still keeps the old-world style, while the kitchen is comfortably decorated, with one of the home’s nine fireplaces.
