BOB NEWHART – $14.5 MILLION, BEL AIR

George Robert Newhart, or better known to the public as Bob Newhart, is an American stand-up comedian known for his unique deadpan delivery of jokes and commentary. He rose to the spotlight in 1960 after the release of his album, The Button-down Mind of Bob Newhart, an album of comedic monologues. The veteran personality sold his home in Bel-Air back in 2016 for $14.5 million. It was later razed and listed as an empty lot for $26 million.

The French Country-style mansion was built in 1941, sits in the ritzy heart of Bel Air’s prestigious East Gate section. The 9169-square-foot house has a total of five bedrooms and six full and two half bathrooms. Inside the mansion, the master suites were equipped with multiple walk-in closets as well two en suite bathrooms, and the mansion is outfitted with staff quarters and private office space above the garage. Outside the mansion, there are broad and flat lawns, a boulder-ringed swimming pool, and a spa.
