American actress and singer, Shirley Maclaine who is famous for her portrayals of quirky, headstrong, and eccentric women, was born on April 24, 1934. Shirley Maclaine’s career started in 1955 with Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller, The Trouble With Harry. Later on, she was nominated for an Academy Award for her performances in several films, including Some Came Running and Irma la Douce. Throughout her decades’ career, for her great performance, Maclaine had won numerous awards, including an Academy Award, two British Academy Film Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
Maclaine used to live in The Plaza Blanca, Santa Fe Branch which boasts of a 10,000-square-foot house, swimming pool, horse barn, chicken coop, and greenhouse.
