JET LI – $20 MILLION, SINGAPORE
Jet Li is known around the world as a great actor and martial artist. He stood out by incorporating his fighting skills into the action films he produces and stars in. Before he entered the entertainment industry, Li was a national Wushu champion in China. After he retired from competitive Wushu at 19, Li began his career as an actor and won great acclaim for his efforts and gifts in acting.
In 1982, Li made his debut with the film Shaolin Temple. Not only domestic films he acted, but Li also appeared in international movies, such as his role as a villain in Lethal Weapon 4, which is a non-Chinese film, and a leading role in the Hollywood film Romeo Must Die. Jet Li received recognition from both the domestic and international film industries for his good jobs. In 2009, he became a Singaporean citizen and bought a property there. Reportedly, his investments in the property cost around $20 million in 2009.
