HARRY BELAFONTE – $2.9 MILLION, NEW YORK

Singer and songwriter and actor Harry Belafonte have been around, entertaining us since the 1950s. As One of the most successful Jamaican-American pop stars in history, he was dubbed the “King of Calypso”. He is well-known for his projects with the titles Bright Road, Carmen Jones, Island in the Sun, and BlacKkKlansman among others. For his great gifts in music, Harry Belafonte won many awards, such as three Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award.

The celebrity retired in 2003 from the music industry, but he used to have a huge investment in a grand mansion in New York. In the main house, there’s a first-floor master-bedroom wing with a fireplace, an original carriage house with a guest suite, a beamed-ceiling game room and a three-bay garage. The colonial estate was built in 1792 and was owned by Harry Belafonte from the 1950s to sometime in the 1990s. Again, it was back on the market in 2016 and already had an asking price of $2.9 million. The entire place was over 100 acres big.
