JOAN COLLINS

Joan Collins debuted her Hollywood career in the 1950s. She is a recipient of a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her spectacular performance in the popular 1980s drama series Dynasty. Collins appeared in numerous films and TV shows series, but she also devoted her time to charity, especially for foster children. Aside from Hollywood, Collins also ventured into business investments and launched Joan Collins’ Timeless Beauty, her own brand.

In 1942, she made her first theatrical performance as a child actress. She played a role in Ibsen’s play “Doll House”. In 1949 Collins began to receive training in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. In 1950, she signed a contract with a British film studio. In 1997 Collins was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, responsible for dramatic services. In 2015, Collins was promoted to Lord of the British Empire due to charity.
