SUSAN DEY

Actress Susan Dey rose to fame for her role as Laurie Partridge on the hit sitcom, The Partridge Family. She is most notable for her performance as the Deputy District Attorney Grace Van Owen on the TV series L.A. Law, for which she earned a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Dey has appeared in a total of 23 films and several TV shows. She was also credited as the writer of Susan Dey’s Secrets on Boys, Beauty and Popularity.

What you may not know is that Susan and her sister Leslie both worked as models and worked for the same company. Their interest in modeling can be attributed to their stepmom Gail. After reading the article about modeling in Seventeen Magazine, Gail submitted the photos of the sisters to a top model agency in New York City. The agency immediately signed an economic contract with them in 1968. Dey is now a board member of the Rape Treatment Center at UCLA.
