KIRSTIE ALLEY
Kirstie Alley is an American actress and endorsement model. She was recognized for the first time in 1982 due to playing Saavik in the science fiction film “Star Trek II: Khan’s Wrath”. Alley also played Rebecca Howe in the NBC sitcom “Cheers” and won the Emmy and Golden Globe Awards in 1991. From 1997 to 2000, she starred in the sitcom Veronica’s Closet and was nominated for Emmy and Golden Globe Awards. Alley received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995.
What you might not know is that she is John Travolta’s best friend and a close friend of Oprah Winfrey. When Travolta and Kelly Preston’s son Benjamin were born, Alley helped take care of this couple’s daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta. Later, she also became the first celebrity friend of John Travolta to see the newborn. Recently, the sixty-something actress and mother of two has lost about 50 pounds and looks 20 years younger.
