Don Knotts was famous for playing the notorious and bug-eye deputy Barney Fife in the TV series “The Andy Griffith Show.” Don Knotts had achieved success in his acting career for half a century, including 7 TV shows and 25 movies, along with 5 Emmy Awards. Despite a difficult childhood, he never lost his sense of humor. He was making his family laugh even when he was on his deathbed, and his daughter Karen needed to run out of the room so that she could laugh. That’s what comedians live for! He was one of the most remarkable actors of his time.
