Nelsan Ellis

Nelsan Ellis rose to fame after starring in the American fantasy horror drama television series, True Blood. His character was only supposed to appear for a few episodes but the producers kept him until the series ended. Ellis was also an American playwright, who also appeared in the popular drama series Elementary. While he had issues with alcohol, he had quit by himself.  He received credits for his magnificent portrayal of Lafayette Reynolds in the hit HBO series, having won Satellite Award from the International Press Academy.

His passing was sort of on an earlier side since he was not that old during the time. He left behind him a legacy that will forever be treasured and remembered. He received a lot of accolades during his active times in his career. Aside from that, he is also a good person and an even better brother. He might have experienced some alcohol withdrawal struggles but what matters most at the end of the day was that he tried to live his life to the fullest and left us with some of the most outstanding performances of all time.
