BILLY DEE WILLIAMS

All the Star Wars fans know who Billy Dee Williams is. He is popular for his role as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars film series. He also appeared in the film Brian’s Song, for which he garnered an Emmy nomination for Best Actor. Another remarkable role he played was as attorney Harvey Dent in the 1989 film Batman. He was instated into the Black Filmmaker’s Hall of Fame and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He is considered as one of the most promising movie celebrities in the 1973 book “Screen World” by John Willis, 1974 Film Annual. He is an excellent actor recognized by all. But what you might not know is that before he started his acting career he was a very competent art student. There were exhibitions in professional galleries, where his paintings sold for tens of thousands of dollars. He has appeared in music videos and sang in the “Voices That Care” choir.
