Kim Novak made a name for herself in the 1950s by starring in the films The Man with the Golden Arm, Picnic, and Pal Joey. She is widely acclaimed for her portrayal of Madeline Elster or Judy Barton in Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller Vertigo. Despite her success, she gradually stopped accepting roles in 1966, stating that she was emotionally drained and no longer wanted to be in the spotlight. She wanted to go back to her first love, which is writing poetry and drawing paintings.

When Kim worked with Fred McMurray in the 1954 film Pushover, this was her first film. Although her role as Lona McLane is not perfect, her classic beauty seems to have attracted the attention of critics. Later that year, King appeared in the film Phffft. More and more fans are eager to see this bright new star. Her legacy in the cinema was credited with an Honorary Golden Bear Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
