BARBARA EDEN

Kids these days probably have not seen a single episode of I Dream of Jeannie, but it is widely regarded as one of the most popular and iconic shows of all time. Barbara took on the titular role of Jeannie, and both the actress and the character became true female icons. Around the ’70s, Barbara slowed down for a bit and started taking fewer acting roles, but she still continued to appear in several shows and films. In 1990, the University of West Los Angeles granted Barbara an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

Barbara Eden’s most recent work is the 2019 movie My Adventures With Santa. Besides film and television productions, Barbara Eden also operates large hotel complexes and casinos, including Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas. It is also a featured attraction at the MGM Grand Hotel, Harrah’s, Caesars Palace, as well as the National Concert Stage and Legal Theater.
