Sophia Loren is an Italian film actress and singer from Hollywood’s Golden Age. Loren started her career as a beauty queen and shifted to an acting career in 1950 when she was just 16 years old. Loren has over a hundred films including Marriage Italian Style and The Gold of Naples, but it was her performance in the movie Two Women that credited her 22 international awards. Loren was hailed as the 21st greatest female star of Classic Hollywood Cinema by the American Film Institute in 1999.
