HONOR BLACKMAN

Honor Blackman is famous for her role as Pussy Galore in the James Bond film, Goldfinger, alongside Sean Connery. She was credited as the oldest actress to play a Bond girl since she was already 38 years old during this time. Her other well-acclaimed roles include Laura West in The Upper Hand and Julia Daggett in Shalako. Blackman was also passionate about theatre arts and starred in the musical play The Sound of Music.

She also began her music career and released the album Everything I’ve Got, after filming Goldfinger. The last song she released was in 2009, entitled The Star Who Fell from Grace. You may not know that Honor participates in an organization named Fairtrade, whose purpose is to make sure that producers from the third world are treated fairly and are able to earn a living with their work.
