PAT MORITA

Noriyuki or also known as Pat Morita was a phenomenon voice actor, outstanding comedian, and Japanese- American actor. He got his first-ever break in the industry when he played the role of a restaurant owner Matsuo “Arnold” Takashi on the popular sitcom Happy Days. Fans of the Karate Kid series will surely recognize Pat Morita for his role as Mr. Miyagi. The movie series was popular during the ’80s and ’90s. His performance earned him a number of nominations.

Aside from the iconic Mr. Miyagi, he also appeared in many movies during his career in Hollywood. He was also known as the voice of the Emperor in the 1998 classic animated film Mulan. Overall, he had more than 100 screen credits under his name. Undoubtedly, Pat was able to make his own legacy in the industry for over the decades before he took his last breath at 73 years of age.
