MARTY ALLEN

Morton David Alpern is considered one of the greatest comedians in the industry. He had several experiences in the performing arts, playing as a comedy headliner in nightclubs and then a dramatic actor on TV before appearing on the big screen. He made more than 700 appearances on the small screen and also produced 16 comedy albums. His most popular projects were Night Gallery, The Naked Face, and Allen and Rossi Meet Dracula and Frankenstein.

Marty was known to be a philanthropist as well, going out of his way to visit military hospitals and provide support to the brave men. He worked together with many health associations, even insurance companies, to improve the general well-being of the people. Moreover, he also joined the air corps during WWII, in which he attained sergeant rank and earned the Soldier’s Medal for Bravery. Regardless of his success, his legendary career ended when he passed away on February 12, 2018, in Las Vegas.
