CLU GULAGER

Clu Gulager came to the limelight as Billy the Kid in the television series The Tall Man and as Emmett Ryker in The Virginian. He is known for his films Houston and Into the Night. Clu also directed A Day with the Boys, which was nominated in the Palme D’Or – Cannes Film Festival as Best Short Film. Clu’s nickname was given to him by his lawyer father because of the clu-clu birds that were nesting at the time of his birth.

Clu is now 92 years old today. With his advancing age, he has decided to step down from the limelight. He has now passed his Hollywood legacy on to his two sons – Tom who is also an actor, and John, a film director. Certainly, being one of the veterans and respected stars in the industry, it is highly possible that he plays as the inspiration for the modern generation who also wants to have a successful career in the business.
