BETTY LYNN

Betty Lynn’s claim to fame was her portrayal of Thelma Lou on the hit sitcom, The Andy Griffith Show. As a child, she was trained as a singer in the Kansas City Conservatory of Music. She was then discovered on Broadway by a talent scout who signed her with 20th Century Fox. Her first film was Sitting Pretty and then followed by June Bride alongside A-lister, Bette Davis. Other films credited to Lynn are the original Cheaper by the Dozen and Mother Is a Freshman. Now that she’s retired, she goes to Andy Griffith Museum every month to meet with her fans.

Just recently, Betty revealed in one interview that the only social media which she knows how to use is Facebook. It is undeniably cute and a bit unfortunate at the same time since Facebook has been known to be the platform with the most negativity. Were just glad that she’s still on social media at the age of 94, and pretty sure Facebook is going to be fine to a legend like her. Besides, there’s nothing that Betty can’t handle, credits to her experiences under the spotlight.
