BRIAN MAY—$210 MILLION

Singer, songwriter, record producer, and astrophysicist (you heard that right), Brian May, who many will know as one of the co-founders of one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Queen, is reportedly worth a whopping $210 million. What many find hard to believe is that the man has a degree in astrophysics! Unfortunately—or, maybe, fortunately—he put his science career on hold after Queen exploded onto the scene.

We’re not sure if he’ll ever pursue a career in science, but rest assured that May looks like he’s competent enough—and smart enough—to do anything that he wants. At the Live Aid concert in 1985, the Queen’s performance was regarded by several publications as the greatest performance in the history of rock and roll. After the show, may wrote the song “One Vision”. Then May made a greater contribution to the writing and composition of each queen album.
