BJORN ULVAEUS—$300 Million

Swedish musician, composer, and songwriter, Bjorn Ulvaeus, who many will be familiar with as one of the members of the Swedish pop group ABBA, is estimated to have a net worth of $300 million, making him, to some degree, among the wealthiest rock stars on the planet. In fact, Ulvaeus was one of the founding members of ABBA, one of the most famous pop bands in history, and he’s had a long and storied music career in his home country, Sweden.

Interestingly enough, despite that ABBA has long been disbanded; Ulvaeus still earns royalty from their songs that are still being played today. Other than being a band member, he helped composed songs for their music group. He is a co-composer of the musicals Chess, Kristina Fran Duvemala, and Mamma Mia! He also co-produced the films Mamma Mia! And Mamma Mia Here We Go Again. So he is earning royalties from the songs and the stage plays and movies they have now become.
