EDDIE MURPHY—$200 Million

Actor, stand-up comedian, and occasional musician, Eddie Murphy, who is widely regarded as one of the funniest stand-up comedians of all time, is among the most iconic members of Saturday Night Live in the ’80. He is reportedly worth $200 million. And, we’re not at all surprised, because there was a time—between the ‘80s and ‘90s—when every other comedy movie had him as a cast member. Murphy has, to some degree, been making people laugh for decades.

Interestingly enough, there are also rumors swirling around that Murphy landed a Netflix deal this year worth $70 million. As a film actor, his movies have grossed at the worldwide box office to about $6.7 billion, ranking him 6th of the highest-grossing American actors at the box office. He is noted for his performances and roles in the TV and big-screen films such as 48 Hrs., Beverly Hills Cop series, The Nutty Professors, Trading Places, and Dolemite Is My Name.
