Chuck Lorre most of the net worth comes from the sale of the performances he has produced as a joint organization. The windfall happened because he was able to negotiate the back-end equity percentage in the show he produced. He is famously referred to in the industry as the “King of Sitcoms,” given his involvement with several highly successful television sitcoms, including Dharma and Greg, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and a lot more else.

Of course, given the degree of success he’s had, it’s not really surprising he’s worth that much. Interestingly enough, Lorre actually pursued a career as a musician and even toured for several years as both a musician and a songwriter. He started focusing on writing for television sometime in 1990 and became so incredibly successful that he’s now one of the richest men in Hollywood.
