SEAN CONNERY—$350 MILLION

Multi-awarded actor and producer, Sean Connery, who many will know as the actor who best portrayed the role of James Bond on film, is reportedly worth $350 million. Indeed, the man is often, to his credit, referred to as “The Greatest Living Scotsman” primarily because of his work as James Bond in many of the earlier Bond films. Aside from his wealth to affirm his talent, Connery also received multiple awards.

A few of his awards are three Golden Globes, two BAFTA Awards, an Academy Award, a Henrietta Award, and Cecil B. DeMille Award. In 1987, Connery got inducted as the Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters in France. What many won’t know, however, is that Sean Connery was actually considered to play the character of Gandalf in Lord of The Rings. Still, he turned it down only to regret his decision when the films were released to wide critical acclaim.
