JERRY LEE LEWIS
Jerry Lee Lewis was set to become the king of rock and roll following the release of his hits including Good Golly Miss Molly, Great Balls of Fire, and more. However, his career took a setback following his scandalous marriage to his first cousin, who at the time was only 13 years old. He was able to bounce back, although it never soared high. Jerry outlived many of his rival musicians and is currently enjoying touring despite his old age.
Jerry caused a sensation when he traveled to New York in April 1957. Many people predict that Jerry Lee will surpass the King of Rock-Elvis Presley. In the second half of 1957, the scene where he set the piano on fire in a performance swept the stage. It wasn’t until the spring of 1958 that Jerry arrived to visit the UK that the wedding became known to the press and fans. Most of his works are folk songs, possibly due to his frustration with his professional orientation.
