Erin Burnett

Erin Burnett is a US news anchor and is currently the host of the CNN show Erin Burnett OutFront. She has served as a host at CNBC. Burnett hosted a broadcast of Erin Burnett OutFront on the borders of Mali, Afghanistan, Rwanda, United Arab Emirates, and Israel. Throughout her career, she has been following reports in the Middle East. In addition to Pakistan, she has filed more reports in Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey, and Yemen.

After graduating from Williams College in 1998, Irene Burnett worked at Goldman Sachs as an analyst. A year later, she wrote a letter to CNN’s Willow Bay. Bay hired her as a CNN assistant, but Burnett resigned shortly thereafter to work for an internet media startup at Citigroup. After leaving the Huaqi group, she moved to Bloomberg, started working as a producer, and joined CNBC in late 2005.
