Michael Strahan

Michael Strahan is an American TV presenter, news reporter, and former professional football player. Strahan set the record for the most sacks in 2001 and helped the Giants beat the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl XLII in the last season of 2007. After retiring from the NFL, he became a media person. Strahan is a football analyst for Fox on Sunday. From 2012 to 2016, he co-hosted the daytime talk show Live with Kelly Ripa and won two Daytime Emmy Awards together.

What you may not know is that he couldn’t play American football in high school until he went to high school at Westbury Middle School in Houston, Texas. In order to gain experience in American high school football games, his father arranged for him to live in Houston, Texas with his uncle Art Strahan. Art arranged for Micheal to attend Westbury High School in Houston, where he played one season of football, enough to get him a scholarship from Texas Southern University.
