DAVID ROCKEFELLER

David Rockefeller is an American banker and former chairman and CEO of Chase Manhattan Corporation. He is the third generation of the Rockefeller family and the oldest member of the family’s ancestors. Rockefeller is the youngest son of John Rockefeller Jr. and Abby Aldridge Rockefeller, and the grandson of John Rockefeller and Laura Spelman Rockefeller. Rockefeller was born in New York City. He grew up in an eight-story house, which is the tallest private residence in the city’s history.

He is known for his extensive political connections and travels abroad, where he met many foreign leaders. In 2017, his fortune was estimated at 3.3 billion US dollars. In 1936, Rockefeller graduated with honors from Harvard University, where he was editor-in-chief of “Harvard Crimson”. He also studied economics at Harvard University and the London School of Economics for a year. What you may not know is that he met future President Kennedy at the London School of Economics and dated Kennedy’s sister, Catherine.
