JANE WITHERS

Jane Withers started as a child actress at the age of 3. She stole the limelight when she starred in numerous movies including Paddy O’Day, The Farmer Takes a Wife, and not to forget, Bright Eyes, alongside Shirley Temple. She then gained fame as an adult when she played Josephine the Plumber in several TV commercials for Comet cleanser. Being one of the prominent child stars of the ’30s and ’40s, a Young Artist Award–Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement was credited to her.

Jane also voiced Laverne in the Disney animation The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She has proven to the world that she has been a part of iconic projects during her entire career as an actress and worked with iconic people. At 94 years old, this classy brunette lady is still one of a kind when it comes to spreading her positive energy into the world. Jane makes sure she still invests all of her passion to the business she loves –showbiz.
