Robin Roberts and Amber Laign

Robin Roberts’ partner was not in the spotlight until she announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. She was struggling with her health and was probably using up a lot of her insurance plans that year up until 2008 because of chemotherapy. After this ordeal, she introduced Amber Laign to the world. Laign stands 5 feet and 5 inches while Roberts stands 5 feet and 10 inches. 5 inches may be a significant difference in their heights but they look happy and good together.

The pair showed up together in the GLAAD Media Awards in 2018. Robin had the honor to present an award to the mother of rapper Jay-Z, Gloria Carter, to honor her for coming out as gay to the public. It was a very sentimental and huge moment for the couple to be there and to have that opportunity as well.
