Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham

Inspiring the world with a steady but unorthodox relationship is none other than Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham. They two met in 1986 in Chicago when they both attended a charity ball. Winfrey was a rising star who was just about to get her iconic credits on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Graham was a newly single man. In the beginning, some people did not really like Graham for Winfrey, but she knew that they had a strong connection with each other.

Standing at 6’6″, Graham really towered over Winfrey who was only 5’6″, but that did not hinder them from being together. Now together for more than 20 years, the couple still isn’t married, but they responded to the public saying that it was better this way with their lifestyles. Winfrey even said in an interview that a marriage would have ended their relationship way earlier and that they are happy with where they are.
