Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman

This Hollywood couple was a fleeting story, but no one could ever forget the memorable relationship while it lasted. Nicole Kidman was taller than Tom Cruise at 5′ 10 ½”, while the latter was only 5’7 ½”. Not a lot of people noticed, though, because the two always looked good together. They met on the set of Days of Thunder in 1990.

They started dating and decided to get married after just a year of dating. Cruise was 28 and Kidman was 23 when they tied the knot. When asked in an interview, Kidman admitted to having gotten into it a degree quicker than she should have. She said she was very young back then but through it all, she was happy she had her two adoptive kids, Bella and Connor, from the union. She also said some growing up was necessary back then.
