Elton John and David Furnish

There are a few things that are different between Elton John and his partner David Furnish. They have an age gap of 15 years and John has a height of 5’6 ½” while Furnish stands at 5’8″ tall. Regardless of these differences, though, they stood the test of time and proved to the world that their love would really last.

By the time Britain finally legalized same-sex marriage, the two had already been together for two decades, yet they did not hesitate at all to get married. Their proposal was a dinner party that they held in their home. With all the high-profile people who attended, their home security system must have been topnotch! They had a civil union in 2005 and then got married in 2014. In one of John’s Instagram posts, he said that getting married felt like the world had finally accepted that they were in love.
