Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman

Here’s the thing, it is a common problem for statuesque girls to have a hard time finding a person who can measure up to them, height-wise. But if they can overlook the degree of difference, they just might find someone who will suit them just right. Just take Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke for example. Although they may not be equal in terms of height – Uma being taller – it was not an issue for them and so their relationship ended up in marriage.

The two met while filming Gattaca in 1996 and got married in 1998. Together, they have two kids named Maya and Levon. While the two called it off in 2003 and hired lawyers to finalize their separation, it was never because of their height difference. These days, they remain quite good friends and their young kids have also grown into talented adults.
