JOHN LASSETER—$100 MILLION

Animator, director, writer, and voice actor, John Lasseter, who many might know as one of the movers and shakers in Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar and Walt Disney Imagineering, is reportedly worth $100 million. Apparently, Lasseter’s mother was an art teacher, and she inspired him to get into animation. He got a degree in animation at the California Institute of the Arts, and the rest, as they say, is history. He started as an animator for Disney but was allegedly fired for promoting computer-generated animation, so he transferred to Pixar and worked on the development of CGI.

When Disney purchased Pixar, Lasseter became the man whose job it is to oversee all of Disney’s animation projects. As a result, Lasseter’s revenue has increased a lot. John Lasseter is known for his unyielding personality in following his passion. His passion for animated films made him lose his job, but he still did not lose hope and continued to strive to realize his dream.
